I've known Bill Buscher for over 20 years, working with him on hundreds of projects, participating with him on both club building and recruiting tasks. Bill lives and breathes Civitan working tirelessly to spread the Civitan word while seeking no recognition for himself. His unselfishness towards Civitan's mission and goals are to be admired. I've known Bill for the past 10 or so years I've been involved with Civitan. I've observed him to be unfailingly and unswervingly dedicated to the principals and activities of Civitan International and our local Clivitan Club of Topeka, as well as the Heartland District of which we are part. While I know it's probably not entirely likely due to natural demands of work and family, it has appeared to me over the years that he has participated in every event our local club has scheduled and most of those scheduled by Civitan International. I honestly do not see how he has managed it...and I admire him for his dedication to this fine organization. Bill has been asked to officially (and unofficially) to be part of our Board of Directors every year because we value his knowledge, insight, and input. We can count on him to provide us and our prospective members with information regarding Civitan International and District activities, rules, membership parameters and him as our International President - I have seen and admired a number of persons within our membership with a very strong commitment to what we do, however, Bill's participation is mind boggling.
