CIVITAN FAST FACTS

Civitan was founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1917. Its founder and first president was Dr. Courtney Shropshire, a prominent Birmingham physician.

Civitan International is a worldside community service organization of men, women and teenagers in 24 countries on 4 continents joining together to perform community service porjects.
